The Power of Belief!
The power of belief in anything you do, see, or experience, is pertinent when it comes to making choices and living your life, within both the spiritual and the practical realm. Pinpointing your belief system and understanding how belief works can greatly improve your life and of course, your Wiccan path!
Faith is also commonly referred to as the power of belief, and is the most powerful and creative force your mind and body can occupy. By utilizing this power, you can enhance your life in any way you desire to, whether it is financially, sexually, spiritually, romantically, healthily, relation-ally, or physically. The fact is, it is your individual chosen beliefs that will determine what you are able to acquire or accomplish regardless of the scope or size of what you are seeking. It is also the power of belief that causes any condition or circumstance to actually manifest itself, the final outcome if you will. There is little that the human mind conceives that actually can’t be brought into physical manifestation eventually. EVERYTHING you do and feel, decide, and accomplish has to begin with your “thoughts” about it. You act on these thoughts based upon your belief system, just look around at the day you just had today. Your mere existence is based on thought, action, and beliefs. Now take a look at the amount of faith you actually HAVE in your beliefs and your actions. Are you truly convinced that what you are doing with your life and your time is A. what you actually want and B. the result of purposeful goals? And C. the results you are seeking at all? Figuring out what you believe in is half the battle, but the ONE thing you MUST count on is your mind and its power, and how the universe is largely connected to your mind and ready to respond to your beliefs! It is the driving force to everything you will experience in this life. You must believe in the things you want, and spend little time thinking about which you do not. Also, beliefs are purely personal and vary from person to person. Whether the belief is religion, magic, health, morals, everyone is their own sounding board.
Understanding the power of belief also encompasses others’ beliefs. Allowing others’ beliefs to uninviting-ly affect you happens more often than not, and much of the time subconsciously. If you do not truly hold the same beliefs as another person in your heart (or your spirit self, your higher inner source) you must acknowledge the difference between not holding the same beliefs PERIOD, vs. being FEARFUL of anothers’ beliefs and allowing THEIR beliefs unnecessary power over you. Everything is perception. Take the very nature of this course for example, if you truly don’t believe in magick, or personal empowerment through Mother Nature and the universes forces, Wicca will unlikely work for you. If you don’t believe in witchcraft and spells, conjuring all you want through spell casting, will not manifest for you since there is no belief. From another view point, if you are a skeptic in all of this hocus pocus and you don’t think an evil hex can harm you because you don’t believe in the belief that another person could place a hex on you, then there is NO HEX on you because you have given it ZERO power, and ZERO acknowledgement. Just the same, if you believe in all of the things that Wicca represents, that you CAN manifest your beliefs into the physical, you WILL see results! IF you believe in miracles, you will witness one every day, if you believe everything sucks and that you are trapped living out your days the way someone ELSE wants you to, that will be the experience the universe has to give you, because those are your beliefs.
Start empowering yourself to think for yourself, create for yourself, manifest for yourself. Once you have a solid understanding that the universe is your employee and YOU are the boss, taking your beliefs seriously can bring you amazing results!
